The North Norfolk Coast has so many wonderful places there are definitely too many to mention, but we will mention a few of our favourite haunts.
Burnham Market Area
Home to the Famous Hoste Arms Hotel, Bar and Restaurant. Fab food, but make sure you book a table.
The Jockey Pub is worth a visit, friendly atmosphere and good pub food.
Don't forget while you are wandering through the village to pay a visit to the White House Book Shop, where you will find up to date titles and also books by local authors.
Brancaster, close to Burnham Market has a lovely sandy beach, great for the kids but don't get caught out by the tide.
Brancaster Staithe has a sailing club and a pub and restaurant called The White Horse, which has amazing views over the marshes to the sea, probably best to book a table here too.
Salthouse Area
The birdwatchers paradise. Marshes full of rare and unusual birds plus you can visit the Cley Visitor Centre which incorporates an observation area, interactive interpretation including a remote controllable wildlife camera, and a café.
The Dun Cow pub is open all day for food and has a large garden overlooking the marshes, also at the back of the pub there is a private adults only garden with tables amongst the fruit trees.
The local town of Holt offers some very different shops and cafes. Byfords cafe has a fantastic cake selection and deli, a great place to watch the world go by over a cup of coffee.
