Wells-next-the-sea

Wells-Next-The-Sea is a bustling seaside town situated in the heart of the North Norfolk coast. A very popular tourist location, with an award-winning beach bordered by colourful beach huts and shady pinewoods. You will find scenic walks, coffee shops and art galleries as well as a variety of pubs and eateries in the town.

Staithe Street offers a selection of traditional and contemporary shops, perfect for anyone who fancies a spot of well-deserved retail therapy during their stay. You can easily walk from Wells Quay to the beach, which is just one mile away, or catch the seasonal narrow-gauge railway

This location is perfect for bird watchers, cyclists, walkers, kayaking, sea fishing trips, bird watching, eating out.

Burnham Overy Staithe

Burnham Overy Staithe is a picturesque seaside harbour, surrounded by beautiful salt marshes, sand dunes, boats, tidal creeks and stunning wildlife. You can reach the secluded beach on foot by following the coastal path, which is just over a mile away, taking in the fresh sea air and breath-taking scenery as you stroll.

During the summer months you can catch a ferry to Scolt Head Island, a National Nature Reserve and popular beauty spot. Don't forget to pop into The Hero on your way back, a cosy, laid-back pub with a fantastic outdoor area, with seasonal menus and locally sourced produce.

This location in perfect for sailing, walking, bird watching, swimming and paddle boarding.

Stiffkey

Stiffkey is a quiet, rural village situated along the North Norfolk coast, surrounded by vast open spaces to explore and unwind. The Saltmarshes are part of the National Trust Nature Reserve, so if wildlife and photography is your passion, this is the place to be whilst relaxing on your holiday in Norfolk.

This coastal village is an ideal place to escape the world, and to explore the beauty of the Norfolk coastal path. The Red Lion is a traditional, relaxed and very friendly local pub which serves locally sourced lobsters and crabs, caught fresh daily from Wells-Next-The-Sea. Stiffkey stores offers a selection of delicious cakes and pastries made daily in store, alongside a wide range of locally made products.

This location is perfect for walking, relaxing, bird watching or sailing.

Burnham Market

Burnham Market is a beautiful and truly unique Georgian village nestled in a picturesque setting, situated just a mile away from the coastline. This location is famous for it's open green, which is lined with characterful flint cottages and over 30 independent shops, including gift shops, boutique restaurants, cafes, bars and galleries.

This bustling, vibrant village is situated just a stones throw away from the stunning North Norfolk coastline, so you are perfectly placed to explore the expansive sandy beaches, the best coastal walks and natural wildlife that surrounds you.

Docking

Docking is a pretty village, just a few miles from the beautiful North Norfolk coast, with easy access to popular coastal locations including Brancaster, Hunstanton, Thornham and Burnham Market. This village is one of the highest points in the county and has a village shop, pub, post office and fish and chip shop.

For those who fancy getting away from the car, Peddar's Way passes just three miles to the West of the village. Docking is just a short distance from the North Norfolk coast and is perfect to explore Norfolk's award winning beaches, fantastic restaurants and beautiful wildlife.
